Al 45 jaar worden we verwend door de goed doordachte en verzorgde popmuziek van de Amsterdamse band de Nits (vroeger The Nits). Ik geef in dit blog een overzicht van hun hoogtepunten uit het imposante oeuvre dat inmiddels 20 studioalbums bevat.
For 45 years now, we have been amused by the well thought-out and well-kept pop music of the Amsterdam band the Nits (formerly The Nits). In this blog I give an overview of their highlights from the impressive oeuvre that contains 20 studio albums at the moment.

Jaren ’70:
New Flat: een levendig album met hoekige gitaar en synthesizer popmuziek.

Urk biedt een mooie dwarsdoorsnede van hun repertoire uit de eerste 15 jaren van The Nits met maar liefst 29 nummers. Het is een rijk georkestreerd document met warme popmuziek.

Ja de Nits hebben samengewerkt met Freek de Jonge als zanger. Deze gelegenheidsformatie heette Frits. Een van de nummers heet Dankzij de dijken en is de Nederlandstalige bewerking van In The Dutch Mountains.
